The ask

Islamic organisations including LPBI NU, MLH Muhammadiyah, Republika, Universitas Gadjah Mada, and Purpose Climate Lab came together at the Muslim Congress for a Sustainable Indonesia and formed MOSAIC: Muslims for Shared Action on Climate Impact. Purpose asked us to give the movement a name people could gather under, and a look that belonged to all of them, not to any one member.

What we did

  • Focus group discussions with the coalition to find the values everyone shared.
  • Brand identity — a mark drawn from Islamic geometric motifs and Indonesian landscapes, a pattern system, a calm teal-and-sand palette.
  • Rollout across the movement, including the congress where Indonesia’s Vice President spoke about climate.

What happened

A brand the coalition has kept carrying, campaign after campaign — into Bengkel Hijrah Iklim and The Future Is Our Canvas, among others.
