The Future Is Our Canvas
The Future is Our Canvas is a collaborative initiative under MOSAIC (Muslims for Shared Action on Climate Impact), aiming to mobilise Muslim communities in Indonesia toward environmental action through art and collective storytelling. MostlyHarmless has led the creative, strategic, and operational aspects of this initiative, including comprehensive branding and visual identity development, full-cycle website creation and management, meticulous artist onboarding and management, strategic media communication and digital engagement, as well as the successful execution of the Sedekah Energi action event in partnership with Indonesia's Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kementerian Agama).

When Purpose Campaigns approached MostlyHarmless to bring The Future is Our Canvas to life, the brief was ambitious: to craft a youth-driven creative movement that inspires climate action rooted in faith, imagination, and community. We stepped in not just as a creative partner, but as a full-spectrum execution team—transforming concept into a powerful, living campaign.

TFIOC Website serves as a one-stop station for young artists, activists, and climate advocates across Indonesia. Here, creators can from illustrations and music to poetry and short films—responding to the climate crisis through the lens of imagination, spirituality, and social justice. Selected works are featured in our online gallery, a curated space celebrating powerful, youth-led artistic voices. This evolving collection not only highlights creative talent but also acts as a catalyst for conversation, awareness, and action. Through a targeted social media campaign, we launched open calls, shared artist stories, and promoted upcoming events—building momentum and community around The Future is Our Canvas. The response was overwhelming: over 200 submissions poured in from across Indonesia, showcasing the passion and creativity of a new generation ready to act for the climate.
